Shawn Laughlin of Caskata<\/a>, is a successful business owner and designer of high-end, artisanal paper goods<\/a> and table wear<\/a> that are unique and spec-ta-cu-lar!! She recently appeared on The Nate Show – the perfect platform for Shawn to present her products to her target market. The information Shawn presented and the products she demonstrated were perfectly on point for Nate’s viewers. This TV appearance had great potential!<\/p>\n

General, mainstream image guidance for professionals appearing on TV advises wearing solid colors, basic jewelry and a business suit.\u00a0 Shawn followed those rules in her appearance…basic business attire…the perfect example of a cookie cutter TV image. Unfortunately, there is nothing about her image that reflects the stunning design, artisanal, and luxurious elements of her products. Her outfit makes her look like the owner of a run-of-the-mill accounting firm.<\/p>\n

The disconnect between Shawn’s look and her work is confusing, breeds distrust and undermines her credibility.<\/p>\n
