Brands and boutiques invite bloggers and social media influencers to their events in an effort to build their brand-recognition and fan base. Often times, these brands and boutiques don’t understand what these influencers need to be able to share products on social media. So brands walk away from the experience without getting the social media response and “juice’ they expected and assume that working with bloggers “doesn’t work,”

Sarah Shah has designed this event to teach businesses how to work with bloggers . Sarah and some of Houston’s top fashion, beauty and lifestyle bloggers will demonstrate ways to provide social media influencers with the tools and materials needed to promote their products and services. The event is open to the public (click here for registration).

Panelist, Bridging The Gap Between Bloggers And Brands
Many brands, businesses and non-profits invite bloggers and social media influencers to their events in an effort to build their brand-recognition and fan base. Often times, these organizations don’t understand what influencers need to be able to share events and products on social media. So, brands walk away from the experience without getting the social media response they expected and assume that working with bloggers “doesn’t work,”

Working with bloggers can yield positive results. The panelists will share solutions for bridging the gap between what brands provide and what bloggers need including: Insight into how bloggers work; When/how to collaborate with bloggers effectively; What bloggers need before, during and after events and product launches; The unique elements and materials that social media influencers need to promote their products, events and services; and How to organize and present events so that they are easy to share on social media. (Free and open to the public)
